Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and nice breakfast. Hadn’t stayed in a LaQuinta in several years and were very pleased with it. Also, Effingham is a great little town!

We especially loved that there was no carpet in the building! (Carpet is dirty and holds a lot of allergens.) The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have freshly popped popcorn and cookies made available to us at check-in. That was unexpected.

Everything, the place is convenient, priced great, clean, up to date, staff friendly, etc. if all of the La Quinta’s are like this one it would be hard for me to stay elsewhere.

All was good. Location is great for our purposes to keep on the road the next day on our way home. Breakfast was a good as can be. Wish the dog fee was less or included with the total price when booking but I get it.

The stay was very enjoyable. Quick check-in and got to the room easily. The front desk clerk on check-in was very friendly and helpful. The room was unusually large, but since my architectural firm has done several hotels I understand it was large because of the floor plan. Was not able to have breakfast but it looked very good.
